Art Work at Class of 63 Fundraiser
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT HELD

For the past three Years, the FHS
Class of 1963 has held two events
to raise money in hopes to provide
scholarships for FHS Seniors.

On Saturday, April 18th, the Class
of 63 hosted a dinner at Crane’s Pie
Pantry that was attended by 35 '63
supporters.

Max and Rory Lewis entertained the
crowd before dinner.  The Lewis's will
perform at the Class of 63's concert,
the
Fennville Peace Festival that will
take place on Saturday, June 20th at
Fennville Middle School.

A silent auction was held prior to
the dinner.  The auction and dinner
raised well over $1,000.  That is
enough for 2 scholarships.

The purpose of the Class of '63
Scholarship was started as a way to
honor our classmates who have passed
away.  Applicants for this scholarship
were asked to respond to the following essay question: "What have you done
to make Fennville High School a better place for social acceptance and what
contributions have you made toward positive educational experiences?"

In 2007, the Class of 63 was able to give out 2/$500 scholarships and in 2008, 4/$500
scholarships to graduating seniors of Fennville High School!

The recipients of the 2007 Class of '63 Scholarship were Ashley Radloff and Lara
LaShell.  The 2008 recipients were Cara Mileham, Rachelle Sauceda, John Schalte and
Phillip Capps.
Brother and Sister Max & Rory Lewis
